Sorry photos really dont do it justice, this really is a stunning. Its totally UNIQUE large DIE-CAST 1/18 scale. Im self employed professional panel beater and sprayer by trade, Lucky enough to own 2 mk1s, work on old cars every day, Hence everything on this cars is sooo right! This is a brandnew model, Never been on display, stripped of every part, filled in a few unwanted holes, prepped, etch primed, heavy primed, sprayed in FORD METALLIC BLACK PEARL base, Mega rare Silver Mexico stripe kit painfully fitted and black ford Mexico boot badges, then layers of clearcoat lacquer over the lot.
Looks plain black until you look closely in the sunlight or under a spotlight safe to do so, You can rest assured that these stickers or paint will not come off.... Then it Sparkles all sorts of pretty colours. Sprayed in a real car spray booth with real car paints, a full size spray gun! Baked on then Built up and put back in its original packaging!
INTERIOR: Filled & smoothed firewall. Plastic primed, heavy primed, sprayed silver with loads of lacquer inc, cage complete with X diagonal. Black detailing , alloy looking foot rest, rally centre consul , Twin pod RHD dash, 3spoke Steering wheel, and a pair of bucket seats!Bubble arched Stunning black with lacquered Mexico stripe kit, 1/4 bumpers, boot springs, bullet door mirrors, rolled real highly polished. WHEELS: RARE LARGE 15 style RS4s OR Minilites?
Both Highly polished real alloy" deep dished 15" style, lovely looking treaded real rubber tyres. "Tough sitting stance" Wheels are fixed in this position! The wheels, rs4 spokes OR Minilights in silver or black??Pic of the interior shows the internals off better before the model was completed. Yellow RS NOT included sorry. 1 roof stripe has a little imperfection, doesn't show unless you look for it. Silver is very delicate sorry. Fine now it's under lots of clearcoat!
I'm being very fussy! Wheels do not rotate, This is for show purposes only! This is NOT a TOY!! Advise that you handle it as little as possible, It is a big boys toy!
Listed as used, but is a brandnew model stripped then built as a "one off" then packed back into its original packaging , never been on display from a smoke free home. If i done this for a customer added up the amount of hours and hours and days i put into this, It would have cost a small fortune. I would love to keep it, but i just dont have the room at home or work. 1:18 scale is pretty big.
