Pocher made the shape of this iconic supercar perfectly! It looks stunning and it's HUGE! I've owned it for a few years now with the intention of respraying it from the standard Pocher paint job which was never great! It was 25 years ago these models were made!

It has been displayed at my place of work in the lovely Pocher display case for the past year. It's mostly there but just a few parts have broken or are missing. The front and rear bodywork posts that hold the body sections up are present but broken or missing. Some of the decals have cracked from age or are missing (The bonnet Ferrari badge is an example of this). There are various chips in the paint which have been touched up (See description for more detail). The mirrors are Scale Details metal items (These will be included unattached to the model). I tried cutting back and polishing the paint on the front valance and bonnet which did improve it no end. But the paint is very thin and I ended up polishing through to the metal around the air intakes.

This has been retouched using Ferrari red paint and doesn't look too bad, but you may want to replace the bonnet to bring that back up to perfect. The valance doesn't have this problem and looks very smooth. If you are brave like I was planning to be a full respray would make it look amazing, but that's your choice! A few other places have had small chips touched up and polished. It includes the ignition key and key ring!!

Various parts of the F40 show it's age but this is no dusty back of cupboard Pocher model, it is in good condition and displays very well. But it isn't perfect and so please understand that. Please pay the winning price within 3 days of the auctions end to stop me having to open a case.
